Twice a year, Market America Worldwide | SHOP.COM brings thousands of entrepreneurs from around the world together to help inform, educate and empower them to build their own businesses. In the wake of 2019’s circumstances, these live and in-person events were, unfortunately, not possible. Therefore, we developed engaging, interactive and live virtual events that still allowed all of our company’s distributors, known as UnFranchise® Owners (UFOs), the ability to connect, access and experience the next chapter of business innovation. As our global conventions were moved online, we were tasked with finding a solution to digitize our promotional event material. Prior to DCatalog, we strictly printed our event programs; therefore, we required a quick and efficient format to ease our transition into the digital space.
In addition to digitizing our event material, we also needed a digital solution that could satisfy the demands of our seven bi-monthly UFO magazines. Converting our magazines into online content meant that our customers would need an engaging and user-friendly experience. We wanted a transition that our customers could adapt to while also utilizing the benefits and potential of a digital platform. For this reason, it was also essential for us to incorporate Rep. ID Parameter technology. This critical component allowed us to innovate and transform how our UFOs track their customer conversions.
Our search for a partner that could deliver our tailored list of criteria ultimately led us to DCatalog. Our UFOs can also archive magazines online instantaneously, rather than having to revert to previous issues. With our high volume of magazine output and content that is 50+ pages, this is an all-in-one solution for both consumers and our UFOs.
The transition into digital material has also expanded how consumers can interact with our category of catalogs. All products are linked from our website so that customers can shop directly through the magazine portal. This great advantage has been especially beneficial as we’ve recently started digitizing our beauty catalogs. Customers get the experience of a flipbook while purchasing and viewing our collection of in-demand products. And with the Rep ID Parameter, each UFO-specific catalog allows UFOs to monitor their customers’ purchases and products of interest. The e-commerce integration that DCatalog provides has been simple and compelling overall while enabling us to utilize new tools that have transformed our UFO magazines and their digital capabilities. In less than a year, we’re already converting other aspects of our content into digital due to this success.
Updating and editing our digital content has never been easier than with DCatalog. Adding new promotional material or announcements can be done in a matter of seconds! Our IT department and QA review process is always quick, and we have no problems converting our systems — our website information can be linked seamlessly and flawlessly!
